HOST: Occupy Syracuse, various NY, PA, Canadian OccupationsFOR WHOM: All occupiers interested in creating a regional conference/summit for NY, PA, and Canadian Occupy groups, as well as other activist organizations.PURPOSE: First Call: get broad strokes form or structure of the conference established; form work groups to accomplish tasks; get sense of return communication regarding teach-ins, speakers, organizations.Final Outcome: To create a viable, informative, inclusive space for occupiers and activists in Upstate New York and its regional neighbors, and to help grow the wider Occupy movement by contributing our concerns to the National Occupy Gathering.
